The last night was very cool, crisp, and clear. Well after the family went to sleep I made my way to Eagle Bluff Lighthouse in Peninsula State Park. There I took this 15 minute exposure in pretty much pitch black conditions. The beacon on the lighthouse turns on and off, but doesn't cast a lot of light on the actual scene. I resorted to "light painting" the building with a little maglight. I used a Canon TS-E 24mm f/3.5L tilt-shift lens on my 5d Mrk III. It's not perfect, but I really enjoyed taking this. The sky was so clear I could watch satellites passing overhead, some reflected flashes of sunlight down to me on occasion.
