An Eye Towards Estimable Focus
The three of us took our canoe to Twin Lake at Governor Dodge State Park. We spotted a young Bald Eagle as it flew low over the lake, and into a quiet bay. Paddling as quietly as possible, we were able to slowly make our way to where we thought it may be perching. There was a light wind that pushed us ever so slowly along the shore, and it eventually carried us to where it was sitting on a dead tree. We were able to observe it for a long time, and it didn't seem overly disturbed by us.
