Hi, my name is Lisa Oglesby. I have been a fitness instructor for 20 years. During that time I’ve been trained in body-building, 5K races and long distance biking. In the past 4 years I discovered Yoga which shifted my idea of health to a more holistic approach.
The experience I gained in group exercise classes shaped my teaching style in that I enjoy the challenge of energetic sequences but also incorporate stillness to quiet the mind. I am certified in 200 hours of Hatha Yoga (Body & Soul in Dubuque IA) and 500 hours of Yoga Therapy training (Scott Anderson in Blue Mounds WI).
I focus on aligning the structure of the body and moving outward to learn how the body operates. My goal is to make every student feel comfortable in their bodies and their yoga practice which I believe everyone can benefit from and enjoy. I invite you to explore all the possibilities yoga has to improve the health and well-being of mind, body and spirit. Become more aware and begin listening to your body as you learn how to move into and modify beneficial yoga poses for you Self.
