We set up camp in Wyalusing State park. We were situated at the end of a cul-de-sac at the end of a high, forested ridge. It's meant as a group site, but for us it made for a perfectly private spot. Not only did we have no nearby campers, we also had around a dozen picnic tables! WOO HOO! It was a really relaxing evening of playing with the kid, roasting marshmallows over a fire, and playing games in the tent. We love to camp, and while this isn't as "primitive" as I once enjoyed, it's still pretty awesome to be able to easily camp with the family.
There's been a crow with a broken wing hanging around the Old School House this week. It can't get off the ground, and seems to have been rooting around for bugs in the gardens bordering the school. We decided to capture it and take it to a wildlife rehab center. I'll update its status when we learn what they've done with it.
