Driftless Prairies & Nature Areas
With the coming of the Covid-19 pandemic my work as a photographer evaporated as various projects, endeavors and art showings closed, canceled or were “delayed” until a safer time. As my family withdrew into self isolation the world suffered. From isolation I felt frustrated in my uselessness. Needing a means to foster hope I turned to my core passions of photography and nature. Immersing myself in the prairies and natural areas surrounding our home in south central Wisconsin I began to share my wonderment of these scattered sanctuaries. By doing so connected me not only to the land, but to a broader community.
