Day 17 - Patience Pays
Instead of really moving around to a lot positions for shooting today I tried a little patience. While I sat comfortable on a hill over looking a wide, prairie restoration, thin clouds veiled the sky casting a soft glow. I enjoyed an apple as I sat there, just watching and looking at the scene before me. Knowing that's how many wildlife photographers capture an image I figured I'd give it a spin.
It wasn't as strenuous as some of the hikes I've taken, but it gave me a chance to really think as I waited for something to happen. Feeling relaxed, and happy with another photo I'd taken, I was just thinking it was time to walk home.
Then this little guy perched in front of me.
